Not only is Amazon Creek a vital corridor for wildlife like the great blue heron and river otter, it’s a major recreational artery for walking, biking, rollerblading, and bird watching. Who knows, one day we may find cutthroat trout swimming through Eugene, or people leisurely paddling the creek on a lovely spring day. We feel Amazon Creek should be a source of continuing community pride. Together with community support, we can accomplish these goals.
