“Meet and Greet” with Clinton Begley
Thurs, Feb 16, 5:30 – 6 p.m.
Monroe Community Library
380 N 5th St, Monroe, OR 97456
All our welcome and encouraged to join Clinton Begley for a Meet and Greet prior to our public meeting on November 29th at the Monroe Public Library. Clinton became LTWC’s new Watershed Coordinator and Executive Director as of October 1, and he would really enjoy an opportunity to chat with folks and learn about how he can best serve the watershed community in this new role. Clinton, along with a few members of the Board of Directors, will be on hand between 5:30 and 6 p.m., for coffee, refreshments, and casual conversation. There is no need to RSVP – just stop by and say hello if you have the time!
Clinton joined LTWC over a year ago to help with communication, funding resources and strategic capacity. He is the third generation co-owner, along with his father, of his family farm in Northeast Missouri where he grew up learning to hunt, fish and skip rocks on the river bordering their farm, and explored and kayaked many rivers and watersheds across the country. After 13 years experience in healthcare and wealth management, he earned degrees in Psychology, Tourism & Recreation Management, and Nonprofit Administration. He has spent the last 4 years working with people and natural resources through a variety of organizations in the Northeast, Southeast and Mountain West. He is looking forward to exploring Oregon while putting down roots in the fertile soils of the Willamette Valley.
If you’re unable to make it and would like a chance to connect with Clinton, feel free to call or email him: coordinator at longtom dot org / 541-654-8965.
Dana Dedrick, our former Watershed Coordinator/Executive Director, is still working for the Council as our part-time Special Projects Lead, and is working on exciting opportunities like the Lower Long Tom Outreach and Enhancement Plan. Dana’s new email is dana at longtom dot org and her office phone is the same as Clinton’s (541-654-8965).
Clinton will be holding these informal “meet and greet” hours before many of LTWC’s public meetings throughout the year. He looks forward to connecting with you!
