“Opportunities in Bear Creek to improve fish & wildlife habitat”
Tues, May 27
5:45 – 7:30 p.m.
Tour of project on private property; 24947 High Pass Rd.
Join us at our May public meeting for a tour of a restoration project site on Owens Creek west of Junction City off High Pass Rd. The project at the Barrows’ property is a great example of private property owners and the Council working together to improve habitat for fish and wildlife. Project elements included improving access for migrating fish, placing wood in the stream for habitat, and replacing invasive weeds with native trees and shrubs.
