In August, the Council conducted phone conversations with Steering Committee participants for the Long Tom Habitat Enhancement Project and individual stakeholders who live along the Long Tom River. This process served as an opportunity for the Council to learn what the community values, answer questions, and understand what alternatives stakeholders support. We’re now opening the survey up to the broader LTWC watershed community to provide input on this important topic. The feedback from this survey is helping to shape the recommendations for the Long Tom River Improvement Plan, which will be presented for public comment at the Thursday, November 30 public meeting, 6 p.m., at the Monroe Community Library
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and opinions with the Long Tom Watershed Council! Your responses are confidential unless you fill in your name and email at the end of the survey. Only one response is allowed per computer. Questions on this survey or the Long Tom River Habitat Improvement Plan should be directed to Denise Hoffert – denise.confluence@peak.org. The survey will close on Wednesday, December 13 at 5 p.m. You can also read more about each alternative in the links below.
