Shading Amazon Creek

Developed in partnership with the City of Eugene, the Shading Amazon Creek Program (currently in a pilot phase) is intended to increase shading along Amazon Creek and its tributaries. The efforts focus on private lands within Eugene’s Urban Growth Boundary. Creek-side shading plays an important role in water quality and offsetting the urban heat island effect in our waterways.
