You Did It!

Last spring the council asked the watershed community to give toward an ambitious goal to raise $60,000 for a healthier Long Tom Watershed, and wow did you deliver big! You knocked our $60,000 goal out of the park and invested a whopping $80,331 to benefit the land and water where you live, work and play!

We are humbled by the incredible support you’ve shown this council, and are so appreciative to all of our private and business donors and partners for the care, thoughtfulness, and generosity you’ve shown and gifted your community during this important campaign.

This incredible investment by the watershed community will be used to further our work in the coming year…

20th Anniversary Photos

Thank you so much to this incredible watershed community for coming out to celebrate our 20th Anniversary! We had over 150 people in attendance for great food, company, conversation and appreciation for the work of so many landowners and partners watershed wide – plus some great local wine from Bennett Vineyards & Wine Companycelebrating the bounty of the watershed! Thank you to the Bennett family for hosting us at their beautiful property, to our passionate and dedicated speakers, to our celebration sponsors Ninkasi BrewingStroda Brothers Farm for helping to make the event happen, and to our business supporters of our ongoing 20th Anniversary Fundraising campaign, Armadillo Roofing Inc.The Seneca Family of Companies, and WildCraft Cider Works for their commitment to this watershed and our ongoing work! This was a great bow to put on 20 years of watershed moments, and we’re thrilled at the opportunities ahead for the next twenty!  Thank you for a beautiful evening in the watershed! #loveyourlongtom

Share Your Watershed Stories

As the Long Tom Watershed Council celebrate’s over 21 years of working on your behalf, we want to hear your stories about what this watershed, and the council, mean to you. The council’s success depends upon a  wonderful tapestry of people that make up our watershed community, and the success of our work has depended upon each of your many watershed moments.

We invite you take a few moments to share your story. Below are some prompts to help you reflect, but you’re also welcome to take this in whatever direction feels appropriate to you. We’ll compile a selection of quotes from community members onto a poster that we’ll share at the September 14 Annual Celebration.
