Acres restored, stream miles opened to native fish, trees planted, and gallons of water made cleaner are all important ways to measure the impacts of that work for a healthier Long Tom watershed. You’ll find some of those impressive metrics in this year’s annual report! And, the aspects of our work that cannot be calculated and put into a graph that make all those successes so special, and so important.
For example, community gifts help us to spend time learning from those with deep roots in our watershed. They help us to develop projects that align with the values of this community, and to invest in keeping our work high quality and enduring for the long term. Some of the ways we know we are on track are through the heartfelt testimonials we receive from landowners and partners, the enthusiasm we see in neighbors excited to participate together, and through continued reliable support from donors right here in the watershed.
On behalf of all of us here at the Long Tom Watershed Council, I thank you for being a part of our watershed and the council’s team as a valued community member. Take a look at our 2019 Annual Report and see all the ways you’ve helped make the Long Tom Watershed a healthier place to live, work, and play through your support!
