The Long Tom Watershed Council is seeking volunteers to help out with 4 different Ludwigia extraction opportunities with LTWC water quality specialist, Amanda Reinholtz!

About the Project: Ludwigia hexapetala, or Uruguayan water primrose, is an aggressively invasive aquatic plant. It forms dense mats that can rapidly overtake still or slow-moving water, disrupting recreation, interfering with water intakes, and reducing water quality and important habitat for fish.
When:
- Saturday, August 5, 2017 – 9am-12pm

Where: Each day volunteers will be at a different site. Some restoration sites are on private land, in which case we will meet at the LTWC office to arrange a carpool. Other sites are public, therefore volunteers can arrange their own transportation.
