Clinton Begley, Development & Communications Director
(541) 654-8965
Clinton joined LTWC in April, 2015 to help develop funding resources and strategic capacity. His efforts will help propel the growth and strengths of the organization while telling our stories of successes and challenges throughout the watershed.
Clinton has always been connected to natural resources and is particularly passionate about water. He is the third generation co-owner, along with his father, of his family farm in Northeast Missouri where his property is bounded by North River, a tributary to the Mississippi. From a young age these waters captured his attention as a place to hunt, fish, skip rocks and when he bought his first kayak, float. He has been a whitewater kayaker for over 11 years and it is an activity that has pushed him to explore and connect with watersheds across the country.
Clinton has an A.A. in Psychology from John Wood Community College in Quincy, Illinois; a B.S. In Parks, Tourism & Recreation Management from the College of Forestry and Conservation, and minor in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Montana in Missoula, and a M.S. in Recreation Administration from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. Building upon a thirteen year career in the healthcare business and wealth management world, Clinton has spent the last four years working within the human dimensions of natural resources through a variety of organizations in the Northeast, Southeast and Mountain West. He is looking forward to exploring the mountains and wild waters of Oregon while putting down roots in the fertile soils of the Willamette valley.
