Volunteer Opportunities: Office Assistants
Are you available to help with some projects around the office? Are you interested in learning more about nonprofits from behind-the-scenes? LTWC welcomes volunteers willing to help out in the following areas:
- Recording data collected from one of our scientific studies, such as our Cutthroat Trout Migration Study
- Entering and tracking the contributions of our many volunteers
- Archiving records and helping to organize files
- Helping with mass mailings – folding and stamping letters, stuffing envelopes, or folding newsletters
Resources Available: We’ll provide the training, computer, and table/desk space.
Interests/Talents: Comfortable with computers. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Access, is great. We provide guidance and training, and staff are always available to answer questions. A helping hand and a little time is most important!
Hours & Commitment: Come in for a few hours every week or a couple hours a month. We can be flexible around your schedule, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Please contact Rob at 541-338-7060 or operations at longtom.org if you’re interested in learning more. If you have other skills to offer, or are interested in telling us more about yourself and your interests, you’re encouraged to fill out the Volunteer Interest Form:
