The “Living on the Land” workshop series is hosted in partnership with OSU-Agricultural Extension, The Working Lands Program of Coast Fork Watershed Council, and Upper Willamette Soil & Water Conservation District. The topics are designed to assist landowners managing small-acreage farms and properties. The event discussing weed management on October 18th feature’s LTWC’s Abby Colehour!

- September 20: Plan For Your Land
We’ll talk about how to plan and set goals for your property then get started using a plan template. - September 27: Managing Natural Resources & Soil Productivity
Basics of natural resource management, soil health & soil productivity. - October 4: Pasture & Grazing Management
Make the most of your pasture by learning about rotational grazing, nutrient and winter-time management. - October 11: Rural Water Maintenance
Learn about water rights, well & septic maintenance & ways to protect drinking water sources. - October 18: Weed Management – **Featuring LTWC’s Uplands Program Lead Abby Colehour!
Does weed management seem overwhelming?! Come learn how to identify and manage common weeds on your property.
Event Location: Long Tom Grange, 25835 Ferguson Road, Junction City (Offered as an In-Person Only Event, due to a high amount of planned hands-on activities.)
